How to Display Hyperterminal in Windows 8

Hyperterminal is a small congenital MS Windows application used for data communication between computers, communications to equipment / machines, modems, etc., via the serial com port or TCP / IP winsock

Just as in Windows 7, in Windows 8, even hyperterminal is not found, consideration might be because the current developments for data communications has been so rapid that rely more ethernet port or USB port, so small and classical applications is not included in Windows 7 and Windows 8 when in fact there are still many people who need it.


In order for the program hyperterminal in Windows 8 laptop or your computer, there is a very simple trick that we just copied from a computer that is running Windows XP, only needed 2 files. Search and copy files: hypertrm.exe and hypertrm.dll. then save it to your Windows 8 computer, create a new folder anywhere C or D, E up to you.

If you do not have Windows XP, the files are saved and can be downloaded at Skydrive in a single zip file, small size under 200KB.
Once downloaded, extract in the same folder in Windows 8.

Double-click the file to run the hypertrm.exe
