How to Make a shortcut Shutdown / Restart / Lock Icon In Windows Vista and Windows 7

We already know how to shutdown the computer, through the start menu but there is a more practical way is to create a shortcut to shutdown the computer. Tips and tricks this time may be familiar to some, but I will keep on writing tips and tricks to create a shortcut Shutdown / Restart / Lock Icon In Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Here's the tutorial:

  1.      Right-click on the desktop computer, choose New Shortcut and then a new window appears.
  2.      Fill then one of the following commands:
  3.    Shutdown Computer 
              Shutdown.exe -s -t 00
       Restart Computer
    Shutdown.exe -r -t 00
       Lock Workstation
    Rundll32.exe User32.dll,LockWorkStation
       Hibernate Computer
    rundll32.exe PowrProf.dll,SetSuspendState
       Sleep Computer
    rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0
      

    Click next to continue, then we will be asked to give the name of the shortcut. Enter a name in accordance with their respective functions.
