CALIFORNIA - Instagram finally launched its video feature for its services. Although only now brings video recording capabilities in its service, it turns Instagram has long wanted it.
According to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kevin Systrom, Instagram since the beginning, you want to bring video function. However seiiring development time and technology, the company has now launched a new video feature.
"Honestly, I think it (the video) is an artistic choice. Services I do not think that one is better than the other, because it depends on the duration of time that you give to the user, so you will get different content," said Systrom , as reported by Tech Radar, Saturday (06/22/2013).
"In testing, we tried a variety of different duration options, until finally we chose 15 seconds which we think as the right choice. Not too long and not too short when you're trying to record your child to get a special moment," he explained.
In addition, said Systrom, Instagram video feature also comes with a wide selection of filters. "Coupled with the editing tool, thus providing the right balance," he concluded.
