WeChat has chalked 70 million users worldwide. The instant messaging service also hook Argentine footballer Lionel Messi for its global marketing campaign.
The fans can memfollow official account WeChat Messi in ID: MessiOfficial, which includes video, voice messages and photos from the Barcelona star.
To create a text message, sharing moments, or engage in live audio and video, WeChat allows users to enjoy all the features in one app for free


"We are very pleased to have reached 70 million registered users in such a short period of time. By listening to the needs of users and provide an application that makes them connected via voice, video, and share images and important moments," said Poshu Yeung, Vice President of International Business Group at Tencent, the company behind the app WeChat.
